I created this site to tell the story of how I managed to build my Cobra replica.
The site documents how I got the idea and what I considered while making my decision to build an AK. The entire build process, including many of the challenges, is documented with pictures to show the progression throughout the build. You will also find useful information about the various suppliers and tools used, together with information on what is required to get the car tested, registered and on the road!
The 427 replica kit is manufactured by a company in the UK called AK Sportscars. The kit is called an AK 427. It has been my job to follow their build manual, with modifications to suit my own style and get this beauty registered and on the road.
